STARTING THE RIDE

Our basic courses are for those who have never ridden a motorcycle before, have less than approximately 40 total hours of riding, or haven’t seen the seat in a while and want a refresher. These courses are perfect for beginners to learn how to be safe on the road while riding. Some of the fundamental topics covered are basic controls, proper gear and apparel, avoiding and handling dangerous situations, and riding in challenging elements.

Basic RiderCourse (BRC)
$295

The BRC covers the basics of operating a motorcycle and safety-oriented mental strategies, and is the best place to start once you’ve made the decision to ride. This two day course is approximately 15 hours; 5 hours classroom and 10 hours of riding instruction. In the classroom, you’ll learn about the different types of motorcycles, layout and operation of the basic controls, proper riding gear, and how to become a safer, more responsible rider. You’ll then move to the riding range where you will be guided through the basic skills of straight-line riding, stopping, shifting, and turning, gradually progressing to swerving and emergency braking.

Basic RiderCourse Scooter (BRCS)
$295

The best place to start once you’ve made the decision to ride a scooter. This course is similar to the BRC except on a scooter. Covers mental strategies and basic operating techniques. Scooters and helmets are provided for your use. Successful completion, consisting of five hours of classroom activities and ten hours of riding conducted over two or three sessions, plus knowledge and skill tests. This course may also earn you an insurance discount.

BRC and BRCS canceling/rescheduling policy:

We provide a full refund for cancellation and you can reschedule up to 48 hours before the start of your class. There is a $75 fee if you fail to contact us prior to 48 hours before the start of your class to cancel or reschedule.

IMPROVING THE RIDE

Our intermediate courses are meant for those who have been riding for some time and are seeking extra training. These courses will go into more depth on rider safety, road responsibility, maneuvering, part failure, lane positioning, and much more. Even if you have been riding a motorcycle for many years, these courses are sure to teach you something new.

Basic RiderCourse 2 (BRC2)
$250

A one day license waiver RiderCourse for riders who have completed the BRC or have basic skills with recent riding experience. Similar to the BRC except speeds are higher and you should be on your own motorcycle. An excellent refresher course for practicing and renewing riding skills. Includes a classroom component for discussing safety concepts based on past riding experiences and current knowledge. If you do not need the license waiver component (no classroom activities and no knowledge or skill test), there is a “Skills Practice” offering.

Basic RiderCourse 2 Skill Practice
$175

Similar to the BRC2 – License Waiver RiderCourse and is designed for riders who have completed the BRC or who possess basic skills with recent riding experience. It consists of only riding exercises and does not include classroom instruction or tests for a license waiver. This course is a perfect way for you to reinforce basic skill on your own motorcycle. A skill test is optional and may be provided as a self-assessment opportunity.

These courses are only for those who are already very experienced at high-speed biking.

SPECIALIZED COURSES

Explore other course offerings such as 3rd party DMV testing, customized tailored private sessions, and dirt bike training.

3rd Party DMV Testing
$50

We highly stress the importance of taking a BRC class first which lays down a solid foundation of skill needed to ride safely on today’s roads, However there are some people who possess more than enough skills needed to operate a motorcycle safely and just want to complete the riding portion of the state motorcycle licensing requirement and get on the road. For those individuals we offer 3RD Party DMV testing.

Custom Tailored Private (CTP)
$65 per hour

We offer private lessons tailored to your needs. Not everyone learns how to ride a motorcycle in two days and that is more than okay. Our main goal is to get you comfortable with what you are struggling with so you can be a safe and successful rider.
